03 / FROM PHOTONS TO PERCEPTION

Single-photon sensing.
Practical perception.

A digital LiDAR platform for autonomous driving, mobile robotics and automated warehousing.

i / CUT THROUGH THE GLARE

Single photons.
Clearer signals.

Our VCSEL / SPAD digital dToF architecture captures returns at the single-photon level, with ranging performance specified under 100 klux sunlight. Built-in anti-interference helps reduce crosstalk between nearby LiDARs. Dual returns, intensity and per-return confidence give your perception stack more information to work with.

ii / COMMAND NEAR AND FAR

Close-up awareness.
Long-range vision.

Across the PhotonAI lineup, blind zones go as low as 10 cm, detection reaches 200 m at 10% reflectivity and up to 300 m maximum, and point rates reach up to 1.536 million points per second. Dense perception and centimeter-level accuracy support both close-range obstacle avoidance and long-distance detection.

iii / ACCELERATE INTEGRATION

From unboxing
to point cloud.

ROS1 / ROS2 drivers and a C++ SDK provide point clouds, depth images and reflectivity images. Visualization software supports live viewing, recording and playback; sample ROS bag data lets you start debugging before hardware arrives. Ethernet output and time synchronization simplify integration.

iv / FREE UP PAYLOAD

Less weight.
More room to build.

Highly integrated modules make room for batteries, compute and payload. Lightweight models weigh under 260 g, draw as little as 7 W and accept a wide 9–32 V input, giving mobile machines more flexibility in sensor placement and energy use.

Combined capabilities across the PhotonAI lineup. Specifications vary by model and test conditions; see product datasheets for details. Weight excludes cable.

04 / PHOTONAI

Making LiDAR
part of every machine.

From a premium option to standard equipment.

Founded in 2021, PhotonAI Technology Inc. develops high-resolution LiDAR for robot fleets and vehicle programs. Our goal is to make precise 3D perception practical at scale.

Across APD, SPAD and fully integrated digital transceiver technology, our product lineup spans 360° near-field awareness for robots to 192-line forward sensing for vehicles.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, USA.
